Top 5 Mac Products!

FIRST PHOTO

To me, Mac products have always seemed like a luxury. It’s only since I’ve started working that I’ve been able to afford them! While my collection of Mac make up is only really starting, I thought I’d put together my top five favourite products that I’ve tried so far.

A black eyeliner is a staple product in any make-up bag. I’ve used plenty of both high end and drugstore branded eyeliners, and the Mac one has to be my favourite. Not only do you get a lot for your money, but it glides nicely and is incredibly soft. I find a lot of eyeliners I’ve used before can be hard and scratchy, but this one is perfect. It’s also great to use in your waterlines too.

I’ve always been a fan of the Mac shadows and their ability to blend so flawlessly into the eyelid. My go to look is a brown/bronze smokey eye, so the Woodwinked shade by Mac is one of my favourite eyeshadows. It’s got a lovely warm sparkle to it which looks great in the outer corners/crease and also on the bottom eyelash line.

My make up guilty pleasure is definitely mascara. I love buying new ones and adding to my growing collection. One of my favourites my Mac as is the Haute & Naughty Too Black Lash. I fell in love with this product when it was demo’d to me. I loved the idea of having a two in one. A thick brush for building volume, and a longer, slimmer brush for adding length. Using the two together is a perfect combination.

I’ve always been quite insecure about my lips, they are fairly small – but I try not to let it phase me too much when it comes to make-up! I love sticking to neutral shades, and I have heard a lot of positive reviews about the Cremesheen Glass lipglosses. If I had it my way, I would have bought a good few of these when I had the opportunity, however shopping with boyfriends in a Mac shop is never a fun scenario for them! So I picked this gorgeous pinky nude, in the shade ‘Just Superb’ It looks lovely on the lips, and isn’t at all tacky or goo-like. It’s a soft, light gloss and is incredibly flattering.

Another favourite nude lip colour of mine is the Cremesheen lipstick in Shy Girl, I love pairing this lipstick with a light layer of the gloss over the top. It creates the perfect silky, smooth nude lip. However, the only thing I have to say is that chapped-free lips are a must when applying these products, otherwise the product is not at it’s full potential. Other than that, it’s a nicely scented, smooth and soft product, perfect for those not wanting a heavy, matte lip.
