What’s in my travelling make up bag?

I dislike packing as much as the next person, but when it comes to makeup, it’s a whole other story. Condensing a reasonably sized collection into one bag seems incredibly challenging, but after lots of debating, I’ve managed to do so after telling myself that I won’t need 4 different palettes for a few days; I think I’ll survive.

I seem to have gathered quite a few makeup brushes over the past year or so, and it was easy to pack my everyday go to favourites. I use my Real Techniques expert face brush on the regular, along with my beauty blender. I also packed my Lamora favourites, the round kabuki T02 and the angled kabuki T03. I forgot to photograph them, but I’ve also included my Real Techniques deluxe crease brush and base shadow brush. For my eyebrows I like to pack my avon small angled brush and a generic eyebrow spoolie I bought off ebay. These are my favourite brushes out of the ones I own and what I consider to be my ‘core collection’.

Before I start listing my makeup, it will be no shock to my regular readers what is stated! I’ve decided to pack all of my current favourites which I have raved about a lot on this blog. For full reviews and further product information, it may be of interest to read back a little for those of you who are interested!

I’m currently loving the L’oréal Paris Infallible 24H foundation in both liquid and powder form. I really love the long lasting finish on this foundation, and I love to apply my Bobbi Brown bronzing powder in shade Natural. I blend the bronzer into the foundation powder and it creates a lovely subtle contour. This trio of products is my current favourite. In fact, the foundation is so good, that I don’t really have to use a concealer – that’s one less thing for the makeup bag!

I’m not really a huge fan of lip products as my lips are constantly dry, however my favourite duo is the Carmex moisturising lip balm in cherry. I like to carry this around with me so I can use it whenever I get dry lips. If I want to wear a lip product, I’ll usually only stick to a nude lip, so I’ve packed my Fleur De Force lip gloss in shade Written in the Stars.

For eye makeup, I’ve packed everything in my smokey eye must haves (https://fromahart.com/2015/10/21/my-smokey-eye-must-haves/) plus the Seventeen Falsifeye mascara. These products are all regulars on my blog and I’m constantly recommending them to everyone. Be sure to take a look at my smokey eye post for a bit more info on the products. The products I’ve packed are my Fleur De Force cosmic bronze eyeshadow quad, Revolution awesome double flick liquid eyeliner, Mac eye kohl crayon in shade ‘Smolder’, Make up For Ever smoky extravagant mascara and my favourite Benefit brow zings palette for my brows!
