It can be quite painful putting together a wishlist. Knowing there’s a long list of things you want, but can’t necessarily purchase can be very irritating on the mind, especially for those addicted to makeup and beauty products. I’ve managed to gather some bits and bobs of my previous wishlist, so I thought it would be a fun idea to update it!
The top left of the list boasts a beautiful marble makeup bag with rose gold detailing. Oh Em Gee. Marble and Rose Gold? It’s a blogger’s dream. Sold by Spectrum, this bag is £16.99 and you can also buy matching brushes. It looks such a great size and well made while having such a wonderful marble pattern on the outside. This would look amazing on anyones shelf or in your handbag.
I’ve had my eye on this a while, constantly going back to see if I really want to buy it just yet and its the Tarte Tartelette Tease palette. It has a mixture of matte and shimmery shades in beautiful browns and neutrals. I have never tried Tarte and love the look of their palettes, especially their new release by Hrush. It’s £18 which is a lot for 6 shades, so I’m keeping my eye on it…
Zoeva for me were a brand which I always thought were going to be very expensive as their brushes are high in price – however I was surprised as their makeup is relatively good value for a high end brand. The blush and eyeshadow palette on this row are presented in such amazing packaging which makes hearts appear in my eyes. I’ve only recently got into using blusher, and this palette is a NEED for me!
Powders are always something I struggle to get right. I can never find the one which works quite well for me, so I’d love to give the Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder. I see all of the instagram beauties use this to bake under their eyes, and it looks incredibly dreamy to use. One day I will own you, powder, one day.
I’ve been quite well behaved with my lipstick buying habits recently, however this has been on my Mac ‘to-buy’ list for a long, long, long time. It’s a matte lipstick in the shade Honeylove. I saw a friend wearing it and fell in love with the shade – Whenever I pass Mac I love to swatch it and just dream of one day owning it!
Concealer is another thing I struggle to get right, I can never find something which works for me. This Morphe palette appeals to me as it has so many shades so it would be perfect for not only correcting imperfections and blemishes, but for a bit of contour. Morphe are one of my favourite brands and I’d really like to try their face products.
The last product is a matte liquid lipstick by Gerrard Cosmetics in shade ‘Serenity’ – I came across the brand from Instagram and also from asking a friend for her advice on her favourite liquid lippies. Serenity is a beautiful pink shade and I really think it would suit my skin tone.
